On September 20th, the 16th Beijing International Construction Machinery, Building Material Machinery, and Mining Machinery Exhibition and Technology Exchange (BICES 2023) opened its doors in Beijing, witnessing an unprecedented gathering of over 1,300 exhibitors. Xiang Wenbo, Rotating Chairman of the SANY Group and Chairman of SANY Heavy Industry, graced the opening ceremony.
SANY Group, synonymous with leading-edge technology, presented its latest achievements in Globalization, Digitization, and Decarbonization at a sprawling outdoor booth covering 2,700 square meters. The display boasted 22 flagship devices including Concrete Machinery, excavation equipment, cranes, piling machinery, smart forklifts, and intelligent AGVs, with a particular highlight on their globally leading autonomous driving technology.
More than half of the equipment showcased at the SANY booth were electrified products. Among the 22 devices, 13 were electric, accounting for over 50% of their showcase, embodying SANY's commitment to a low-carbon strategy and setting a green trend in the industry.
Key attractions included the 620 MHEV pump truck and the 620 DEV pump truck, which formed a heart shape high in the sky, inviting spectators. These models are not only benchmarks in the electrified Concrete Pump truck industry but also became a must-visit landmark at BICES 2023.
The popular SANY 412 electric mixer truck also attracted attention, offering low energy consumption, lightweight design, and increased loading capacity.
In addition to their electrification strides, SANY also put a spotlight on their intelligent solutions. These encompassed the SANY SCPC6 series of smart counterbalanced forklifts catering to mainstream applications, the intelligent unmanned transport system formed by the SANY intelligent AGV army, and advanced green intelligent logistics solutions.
Apart from the above, other crowd-pullers included the SY750HBS crusher, the SR435S and SR505S rotary drilling rigs, the SD520S horizontal directional drill, and the industry's first 240-ton mobile crane, the STC2400C8-8.
Interactive sections at the event allowed visitors to experience the machinery firsthand, with international models like BHL75 putting on stellar performances. Crowd-engaging games such as "Excavator basketball" allowed attendees to feel the prowess and allure of SANY equipment up close.
