SANY Works with Sabah to Build a Factory in the State support VIO

SANY will collaborate with Kota Kinabalu Industrial Park (KKIP) to bring advanced industrialized building system (IBS) technology to Sabah.

KKIP will establish an IBS factory, providing high-quality industrial building products for local industry players in the future. Utilizing advanced IBS technology and equipment will significantly enhance efficiency in construction, saving time, reducing costs, decreasing reliance on labor, and more importantly, enabling the public to afford more affordable housing. The collaboration with SANY aims to raise the quality of construction significantly.

The collaboration was agreed followed by a visit to SANY in China. On October 10, Datuk Phoong Jinzhe, Industrial Development and Entrepreneurship Minister of Sabah, Malaysia, and the Sabah Government Enterprise delegation visited SANY Construction`s Miluo Industrial Park and the No. 18 lighthouse factory. During the visit, Tang Xiuguo the Rotating Chairman of SANY Group had productive discussions with Phoong, exchanging ideas on topics such as renewable energy, sustainable development, and Industry 4.0.

[Sabah is a place full of potential and opportunities, and I`m optimistic about the success of the project in Sabah." Mr Tang said

Malaysia is the first country where SANY initiated overseas collaboration on industrialized building technology. Earlier this year, SANY had also held discussions with Federal Local Government Development Minister Nga Kor Ming, and it plans to continue collaborating with PR1MA Corporation to build more affordable homes across Malaysia.
