The official launch of the 919 wind turbine platform was set to be the [star event" of the whole exhibition for SANY RE. The 919 Platform adopts a more integrated design and products on the 919 Platform share structural components such as hub, main shaft, and front bedplate. Blades, gearboxes, and electrical systems are designed as modular systems to cover 8.5 MW to 11 MW products with rotor diameters ranging from 214 m to 230 m through different combinations, significantly enhancing the efficiency and reliability of R&D. SANY RE held the launch event of its 919 platform model at the exhibition and caught the eyes of other wind energy OEMs and the media.
Widespread reports from Recharge, Wind Power Monthly, Handelsblatt, die Welt, LEE NRW, and other mainstream press were released on SANY RE's service advantages, global business strategy, R&D strengths, delivery, and fulfilling capabilities, triggering a strong response from the global wind power industry. Claus Urbanke, Vice President of Statkraft, the largest developer in Europe`s renewable energy market, expressed that Statkraft would [certainly consider using Chinese wind turbines in Europe" after reading Recharge's in-depth interview with Deng Haijun, SANY RE`s Managing Director of Europe.
